How can I make my reservation?
If you wish to make a reservation, please write in your email:
- how many persons you are,
- day of arrival and departure,
- your postal address, to send you a written confirmation of your booking.
You also need to make prepayment of 50% of total in advance; the rest by arrival.

When are arrival/departure days?
- Arrival and departure day should be on Saturdays*.
- Arrival time is between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
- Departure time is until 10:00 pm
- In case of earlier or later arrival please call one day in advance.
*we can arrange a solution if it is out of main season or if you stay
longer than one week.

Is there place enough to sit together in bigger groups?
Every apartment offers sitting areas (outside) for lager groups. Especially
Apartment PINIA offers with its big veranda space for up to ten people.

Is it easy to get to other locations?
In the bay are a couple of little shops (ca. 5min walking) and the old town
of Korcula is in ca. 20 min. walking distance along the coast (and 5 min. by car).
You could also use the bus.

Are there places to swim?
You can swim directly in front of the house and you can find
a lot of other small beaches around the island.

Why is this website called "Defora"?
The dalmatian coast of Croatia was under the rule of the venetian
government for more than three centuries.
Thus many words on Korcula have their origins in the italian language.
"Defora" in old venetian dialect means "from the outside" and is
the name of a part on the south-eastern coast of Korcula,
directing to the open sea (Italy).
Since Defora has a unique countryside and great fishing areas
it is very special to me and many other people on the island.
